“Healthy Obesity” is a Myth

In the recent past, it was thought that people who were overweight but were OK with cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure were not at increased risk. However, a recent meta-analysis that followed these patients over a ten-year period showed that an increased risk of cardiovascular disease and mortality catches up with them, no doubt about it.
